    Read this passage carefully and answer the questions.

    Julius Caesar has returned  triumphant from war, and Romans have gathered to celebrate the occation. However, not everyone is happy. Cassius and Brutus, two senators, are afraid that Caesar is becoming too powerful, too ambitious. Cassius and some other conspirators convince Brutus to join a plot for assassinating Caesar. Portia, Brutus's wife, feels worried and asks Brutus what is going on, but he does not confide in her.

    Calpurnia, Caesar's wife, has a dream about his death. She asks Caesar to stay home, but one of the conspirators convinces Caesar to go to the Senate. There, the conspirators stab Julius Caesar to death, with the final blow struck by Brutus.

    Mark Antony was Caesar's friend. After the assassination, he is furious with the conspirators, but he behaves quite nicely with them. he and Brutus deliver speeched as Caesar's funeral. At first', public sympathy is with Brutus, but after Antony has spoken, people turn against the murderers, forcing them to run away from the city.

    Brutus and Cassius bring together an army to fight against Anatony. But they also argue among themselves and Brutus sees Caesar's ghost. During the battle, both Cassius and Brutus end their lives. Anatony honours Brutus by calling him 'the noblest roman of them all". He returns to Rome to rule, with Caesar's great-nephew Octavius.
