About William Wordsworth

William Wordswoth (1770-11850) was born in Cumberland, England. He shot to fame in the year 1798 with his poetry book, Lyrical Ballads, which he wrote in collaboration with English poet, Samuel Taylor Coleridge. 

Wordsworth often went on walking tours, visiting places famous for their beautiful landscape. He often referred to as the Nature poet.

Wordsworth was England's Poet Laureate from 1843 until his death. He died on 23 April 1850.
