A Beast with Beauty

Raghavendra Prabhu

She springs like a deer,
She pounced like a lion,
She plays without fear,
With a willpower of iron.

For her it's never enough,
She likes to win them all.
No doubt that she is tough,
Call her Saina Nehwal.

She is swift in her motion,
She sees like a hawk,
She knows only action,
And does less of talk.

She is beast with a beauty,
Her games are no mere play.
Every match is to her a duty,
She must take on every day.

You can't just miss watching
Her smashes and reflexes.
For the hopes that were dying,
She's the new sing of success.

She's the pride of our nation,
And she stands so tall,
She has caught the imagination,
Of a billion fans 'n all.
