   Read the following text and then underline all the verbs.

   Once upon a time, Jupiter ordered Vulcan, the blacksmith God, to make a daughter for him out of clay. Vulcan made the beautiful Pandora. Jupiter sent Pandora down to earth to marry Epimetheus. Jupiter was not being kind. He was very angry with the brothers, Epimetheus and Prometheus. They had given fire to mankind without asking him first. Jupiter gave Pandora a little box with a big heavy lock on it. He made her promise never to open the box. He gave the key to Pandora's husband and told him to never open the box. Jupiter was sure that one of the brothers would become curious and open the box. But the brothers were intelligent. They knew Jupiter would play a trick. They never went near the box. One day, when Epimetheus was sleeping, Pandora stole the key and opened the box. Out flew diseases, hatred, envy, greed, crime, sorrow and suffering of every kind. Pandora was horrified. She slammed the lid shut, but it was too late. All the bad things had already flown out into the world. Pandora sobbed loudly. Epimetheus woke up. She opened the box to show how empty it was and how foolish she was. But the box not quite empty. Out flew a tiny bug. 'Thank you for setting me free. My name is Hope,' she said. That is how the world today has Envy, Crime, Hate, Diseases but also has Hope.
