About Anne Frank

Anne Frank (1929-1945) was born in Frankfurt, Germany. She moved to Amsterdam with her family in 1933. The family wents into hiding in 1942 to escape persecution by the Germans during the Second World War. Anne wrote about her experiences during this period in a diary, which was first published in 1947 and since has been translated in more than sixty languages.
