SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation)
IEO (International English Olympiad): It is conducted every year for the eligible applicants (from any school) as two level exams. It is a joint venture of the Science Olympiad Foundation and the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad. The International English Olympiad is organized for those applicants who are appearing in class 1st (I class) to class 12th (HSC class). The first level of the test is organized in the respective schools of the participants during school hours. The Level 1 competition is an objective-type test of 60 minutes duration comprising 35 objective-type (Multiple Choice) questions for class 1 to class 4 and 50 objective-type (Multiple Choice) questions for class 5 to class 12. The Level 2 is conducted for students of class 3 to class 12. CBSE, ICSE/ISC and State Board syllabi are followed for setting the test papers.
IMO (International Mathematics Olympiad): It is conducted every year for mathematics subject with an aim to classify and encourage the mathematical creativity of the eligible applicants in different schools across India and abroad. It is conducted every year for the eligible applicants by the official authority. Students should register through their respective schools only. The SOF International Mathematics Olympiad is conducted at two levels. The first level of the test is organized in the respective schools of the participants during school hours. The Level 1 competition is an objective-type test of 60 minutes duration comprising 35 objective-type (Multiple Choice) questions for class 1 to class 4 and 50 objective-type (Multiple Choice) questions for class 5 to class 12. CBSE, ICSE/ISC and State Board syllabi are followed for setting the test papers. The level 2 is conducted for students of class 3 to class 12.
NCO (National Cyber Olympiad): The National Cyber Olympiad talent search exam is internationally conducted every year for the eligible applicants with an aim to classify and nurture the cyber talent of the youngsters of the generation. The National Cyber Olympiad is formed in order to inspire the younger generation to enhance their knowledge and comprehension of issues related to computers and IT. It is organized with an aim to identify the mental ability, logical and analytical reasoning in computers and IT field of the applicants. The applicants who are studying in any class between the class I to class XII (HSC class) from a known school are eligible to appear for the National Cyber Olympiad examination.
NSO (National Science Olympiad): The exam is conducted by its official authority with an aim to motivate and inspire eligible applicants to strive for a better and deeper understanding of scientific facts and data.. The exam is organized every year for the eligible applicants who are studying from class I to class X in different schools located all over India. The exam tests the reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills of all the eligible applicants. Students should register through their respective schools only. The SOF National Science Olympiad is conducted at two levels. Level 1: The first level of the test is organized in the respective schools of the participants during school hours. The Level 1 competition is an objective-type test of 60 minutes duration comprising 35 objective-type (Multiple Choice) questions for class 1 to class 4 and 50 objective-type (Multiple Choice) questions for class 5 to class 12. CBSE, ICSE/ISC and State Board syllabi are followed for setting the test papers. The Level 2 is conducted for students of class 3 to class 12.
ICO (International Commerce Olympiad): The SOF NCO is open to the students of classes 1 to 10 with an aim to identify the Logical Reasoning and Computers and Information Technology knowledge at their grade level. Prospectus containing the Registration forms are sent to all schools registered with SOF. The SOF NCO is conducted on two dates. Each school may select a date for conducting the SOF NCO as per its convenience. Each date of exam has a separate question paper. Students should register through their respective schools only. The test is organized in the respective schools of the participants during school hours. The first paper is an objective-type test of 60 minutes duration comprising 35 objective-type (Multiple Choice) questions for classes 1 to 4 and 50 objective-type (Multiple Choice) questions for classes 5 to class 10. CBSE, ICSE/ISC and State Board syllabi are followed for setting the test papers.
IGKO (International General Knowledge Olympiad): The SOF IGKO is open to the students of classes 1 to 10. Prospectus containing the Registration forms are sent to all schools registered with SOF. Students should register through their respective schools only. Individual registrations by students are not accepted. The SOF IGKO is an objective-type test of 60 minutes duration comprising 35 objective-type (Multiple Choice) questions for class 1 to class 4 and 50 objective-type (Multiple Choice) questions for class 5 to class 10. The exam is conducted during school hours.
